Born and raised in Oregon, Neal moved to Nashville, TN in 2014. There he worked as an institutional piano tuner under the guidance of Steve and Rod Kelly of Kelly’s Piano Service. He maintained practice room and classroom pianos as well as performance instruments at Belmont University. He also developed a specialization in vintage electro-mechanical pianos, such as Wurlitzers, Rhodes and Hohner instruments. In 2024, he and his family relocated to Florence, AL. He continues his work here, offering piano tuning and repair services to the Shoals and outlying areas.
